Safety without an account, tracking, or smart home.
Corlo intentionally avoids unnecessary friction. No registration, no ad trackers, and no permanent monitoring of your everyday life.
Safety without Corlo having to know who you are
Most apps demand an email, a phone number, and an account before they do anything at all. Corlo flips that: you decide whether and what to store — and you can delete it yourself at any time.
Privacy first
Only the information that is actually relevant for the emergency function.
Clear rules
The way data is handled is described in a way people can actually understand.
No tech spiral
No extra hardware, no sensors, and no smart-home integration as a requirement.
Trust comes from clear rules about your data.
Corlo intentionally avoids forced accounts, ad tracking, and unnecessary data collection. That keeps the emergency function simple, understandable, and privacy-friendly.
You decide what to store
Data minimisation as an architectural principle
No smart-home dependency
Privacy is not an add-on here. It is part of the product itself.
No registration required
You do not need a traditional user account to use the app.
No ads and no tracking
Corlo is not built to collect usage data for marketing.
Delete your data inside the app
You can remove your data yourself at any time — no support request required.
What Corlo consistently avoids
For a safety app, trust has to be visible. That is why Corlo avoids many things that have become normal elsewhere.
Safety should not require you to give away more data than is truly necessary.
What Corlo actually collects — and what it deliberately does not
| What is processed | What is deliberately not collected |
|---|---|
| Anonymous device session for the check-in | No user email address required |
| Name and contact details of the emergency contacts you save | No location history, no movement tracking |
| Optionally, a personal message for the alert | No advertising or tracking identifiers |
| Timing and success of check-in and alert delivery (for auditability) | No profiling, no sale to third parties |
The infrastructure behind Corlo
The full alert pipeline runs on European infrastructure. We have an Article 28 GDPR data processing agreement with each of these providers.
- Supabase EU — data storage on servers in Frankfurt
- Brevo (EU) — email delivery from European data centers
- seven.io (Kiel, Germany) — SMS delivery from Schleswig-Holstein
The only US-based provider in the stack
- Firebase Crashlytics — solely for anonymous crash diagnostics, outside the alert path
You can delete all your data inside the app at any time, without contacting support.
